Azure Latch Don Lorenzo: Base & Mastery Moveset + Quest
The Ace Eater
Don Lorenzo is a World Class (0.4%) defender whose kit eats carriers — and the base of Mastery Don Lorenzo, one of the strongest defensive styles in the game (tier list).
Base Moveset (Official Values)
- {T} Doberman Charge — the defensive-style charge tackle: barrel into the carrier and take the ball. Counterable by Dribbles/Counters. 30s cooldown.
- [1] Zombie Dribble — on-ball, iFrames, 25s.
- [2] Undead Crash — a team pass-play requiring a teammate. iFrames, 30s.
- [3] Defensive Stance — the anti-charge answer, iFrames, 30s.
- [4] Horrific Intercept — aerial interception: 50s landed / 35s missed, iFrames.
- Awakening — 50s, featuring the “Yo, Michael.” QTE against awakened carriers and the Ace Eater finisher.
Mastery Don Lorenzo
Unlocked by a three-part questline (Aiku’s Bloom / Barou’s Crown / Don’s Defense — full steps) plus a 10,000 Cash claim fee. The mastered kit’s centerpiece:
- {T} Price Check — mark an opponent (30s cooldown, 1.5-tile radius, 24s duration): the marked player suffers a 22% movement-speed reduction and a 30–0% shot-power reduction scaling with distance. You can’t mark someone who held the ball in the last 2 seconds.
- Zombie Dribble gains an A/D double-weave variant.
- The “Delicious.” special interaction QTEs enemy Kaisers in flow (interactions), and “It’s Feeding Time.” with a Barou teammate is one of the game’s flashiest chemical reactions.
Playing the Zombie
Base Lorenzo wins by attrition: Defensive Stance answers charges, Horrific Intercept owns the air (respect the 50s landed cooldown — pick your crosses), and Undead Crash keeps possession flowing. Mastery Lorenzo adds target elimination — Price Check the enemy carry before their striker windows and watch their shot power evaporate. Budget note: the 10k claim fee is real; run the economy loop before finishing chapter three.
