Azure Latch Kaiser Guide: Moveset, Cooldowns & Mastery Kaiser

The Emperor

Michael Kaiser is a World Class (0.4%) striker — the premium roll target and one of the S-tier picks (tier list). His identity: overwhelming shot pressure with iFrame coverage on nearly everything.

Base Moveset (Official Values)

  • [1] Kaiser Impact — the signature strike. iFrames, 28s cooldown, usable any time.
  • [2] Kaiser Impact: Magnus — the curve variant: strong curve, no iFrames, 35s cooldown, and a deliberately long windup after balance changes.
  • [3] Off The Ball — repositioning burst with iFrames, 25s cooldown.
  • [4] Dribble — a counter with iFrames, 25s cooldown either way; miss the counter window and you’re stunned about a second.

Awakening

68 seconds — the longest flow duration among documented styles, with an Aerial Awakening trigger (use flow while the ball is airborne near you). Awakened Kaiser gains the Beinschuss/Nutmeg variant of Kaiser Impact and turns every possession into a shot threat. The NEL Isagi questline’s first chapter lives inside this kit — Beinschuss, Superstar and Lightning Impact goals are all quest items.

Playing Kaiser

Magnus’ windup telegraphs, so use base Impact as your bread-and-butter and save Magnus for keepers who’ve committed to your straight-shot line (shooting theory). The Dribble counter is your defensive out — but respect the whiff stun in ranked. Watch for enemy Mastery Don Lorenzo players: their “Delicious.” interaction QTE specifically hunts flowing Kaisers (chemical reactions).

Mastery Kaiser Is Coming

Officially teased as the next mastery release after Mastered Aiku. If the Aiku precedent holds, it will unlock by playing Kaiser — so hours invested now double as mastery progress later (update log).
